Abstract

English

My doctoral work based on the synthesis and reactivity of the compounds with low valent group 14 elements (carbon, silicon, germanium, and tin), which include the hydrogenation of N-heterocyclic carbene by ammonia borane, oxidative addition of ammonia at the silicon(II) center, N-H bond cleavage of ammonia at germanium(II) center, reactivity of the germylene hydride and stannylene hydride, dehydrogenation of germylene hydride by frustrated carbene borane Lewis pair, hydrogen for fluorine exchange by stannylene hydride, synthesis of first monomeric tin(II) hydroxide, and also synthesis of novel heteroleptic silicon, germylene, and stannylene compounds.
Keywords: Carbon(II); Silicon(II); Germanium(II); and Tin(II)

Other Languages
