Abstract

English

The role of interleukin-6 during the wallerian degeneration. We investigate Interleukin-6 Knockout-Mice as model for the role of Interleukin-6. We studied nerve transection model of 4- and 6 days after transection to the N. ischiadicus in comparise to wildtyp-mice. We examined immunhistochemical the macrophagen-antigen F4/80, Mac-1, LFA-1 and also we used semi-thin-cuts to investigate the macrophage-phagocytosis-activity and the myelin-concentration.
Keywords: Interleukin-6; wallerian degeneration; makrophage

Other Languages
