| de |

dc.description.abstracteng | This retrospective analysis describes the use of additive intracoronary thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in comparison to percutaneous coronary intervention alone in treatment of stenotic or occluded coronary artery bypass grafts. Hospital charts and coronary angiography films of 127 patients with disfunction of coronary artery bypass grafts were reviewed. 32 patients were treated with intracoronary infused recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in addition to percutaneous coronary intervention, 95 patients were treated only with conventional percutaneous coronary intervention. Despite combination of anticoagulant and thrombolytic therapy there was neither bleeding requiring transfusion nor a cerebral bleeding recorded in patients with local recombinant tissue plasminogen activator treatment. Percutaneous coronary intervention of coronary artery bypass grafts in addition to intracoronary recombinant tissue plasminogen activator treatment seems to ! be an effective and safe alternative method in therapy of coronary artery bypass graft dysfunction. | de |
