Abstract

English

Retrospective analysis over 20 years on 38 patients, which were treated with lipid apheresis. Efficiency, compatibleness and adverse effects of the procedures HELP, DALI immunadsorption and dextrane-sulfor-adsorption were evaluated. The incidences of major cardiovascular events (MACE) (death, cerebrovascular accident, myocardial infarction, limb amputation, and renal vascular involvement) were taken separately as primary end-points or as a combined end-point. The Evaluation of the treatment shows a minimization of these Endpoints under treatment an the safeness of the procedures.
Keywords: hypercholesterolemia; LDL; apheresis; HELP; DALI; immunadsorption; Futura; dextrane-sulfor-adsorption

Other Languages
