The presented work covers the research activities and publications of the author in the field of scientifc computing. The article deals with the numeric simulation of aerodynamic effects on hybrid grids and describes different methods to enhance the efficiency of such computersimulations with the usage of a hybrid grid adaptation technique.

Die vorliegende Arbeit fasst die Forschungstätigkeiten und Veröffentlichungen des Autors auf den Gebiet des wisenschaftlichen Rechnens zusammen. Die Abhandlung beschäftigt sich mit der numerischen Simulation von aerodynamischen Effekten auf hybriden Netzen und schildert unterschiedliche Ansätze zur Steigerung der parallelen Effizienz solcher Computersimulationen unter Verwendung einer hybriden Netzadaptionsmethode.
