| de |

dc.description.abstracteng | Epitaxially grown thin films of Vanadiumsesquioxide (V2O3) exhibit a metal-insulator transition around 170 K accompanied by antiferromagnetic ordering. This behaviour is well known for the bulk material. Scope of this thesis are magnetic interaction effects at interfaces of (11-20)- and (0001)-oriented V2O3 covered by iron, nickel and cobalt. These interaction effects were investigated by means of conventional magnetometry and x-ray magnetic circular dichroism. All combinations (except iron on (11-20)-oriented V2O3) show an exchange bias below the transition temperature of the oxide. This was attributed to a non magnetic monolayer of iron in contact with the oxide. | de |
