Abstract

English

The glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most frequent and the most malignant brain tumor showing the highest rate of anaplasia (WHO Grade IV) (Riede and Schaefer 2001b). The prognosis is bad (Mueller 2006) despite multi-modal and evergrowing new methods of treatment (Omay and Vogelbaum 2009; Mueller 2006; Weller 2008; Fukushima et al. 2009; Tabatabai and Stupp 2010).
