Zusammenfassung

A sublimation cell for the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) microspectroscopic characterization of microcrystals was constructed and tested on methyl mandelate and mandelic acid. Spectral assignments and the determination of the molecular alignment within the microcrystals were supported by quantum chemical calculations, spectral comparisons to structurally similar substances, and the crystal structures. The method was expanded to the study of the phenylpropanolamines norephedrine, pseudonorephedrine, ephedrine, and pseudoephedrine. The phenomena adaptive aggregation and chirality recognition were studied.

bestimmt. Die Methode wurde auf die Phenylpropanolamine
Norephedrin, Pseudonorephedrine, Ephedrin und Pseudoephedrin
ausgeweitet. Die Phänomene der adaptiven Aggregation sowie der
Chiralitätserkennung wurden untersucht.
