dc.description.abstracteng	The present study is an examination of the discursive language use of social integration. Like the immigrants in Germany, the Roma in Hungary constitute a numerically significant minority with its own traditions and its own socio-cultural background. The concept of coexistence with these minorities is in both countries their "social integration". The investigation is based on the assumption that the social integration - as any socially relevant theme – is not only a political, economic or socio-cultural, but also a linguistic phenomenon. Because of its high social relevance integration is publicly controversial discussed. In these public discussions contents are being debated about and meanings are being negotiated. The frame of reference, in which semantic contents of integration are discussed is the so-called “integration discourse” according to Michel Foucault.	de
