Abstract
English
Analysis of RNA-Seq data in a genome context sensitive approach to identify known and novel RNA-regulatory elements and events applied by Bacillus licheniformis DSM13 to adapt its physiology to a productive fermentation. The combination of the transcriptional activity with the genomic context allows novel insights into the way Bacillus licheniformis DSM13 uses its genomic capabilities in an industrial production environment. For the purpose of analysing this RNA-Seq data, a bioinformatic tool called TraV (Transcriptome Viewer) has been developed that allows the comparative analysis of multiple transcriptome datasets in parallel. This approach allows the identification of changing transcriptional behaviour under different or changing growth conditions.
