dc.description.abstractger	Die Gestaltung der mittelalterlichen Abendmahlskelche ist von einem stetigen Wandel bestimmt. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht die formale und figürliche Gestaltung von Kelchen aus dem mitteleuropäischen Raum von 1200-1525. Auf der Basis von 380 figürlich verzierten Kelchen werden die Entwicklungsschritte von Fuss-, Nodus- und Kuppaform sowie der Kelchhöhe dargelegt. Der zweite Abschnitt widmet sich den dargestellten Themen und ihrer zeitlichen Verteilung im Untersuchungszeitraum.	de
dc.description.abstracteng	The design of medieval chalices is characterised by continuous change. The present study examines the formal design and figural decoration of middle-european chalices from 1200-1525. On the basis of 380 figural decorated chalices the study set out the development steps of foot-, nodus- and cupdesign as well as the hight. The second part is dedicated to the pictured themes and their temporal distribution in the investigated period.	de
