Abstract
English
Russian crop production reflects a significant rise in the cultivation of corn and soybeans. One of the highest growth rates, along with a significant share in the national output, can be found in the Central Black Soil Region (CBSR). The rapid expansion of corn and soybeans acreage raises a serious question about any further development of agricultural production in Russia. The aim of this thesis is to determine the current trends, risks, and future directions in the production of cash crops in CBSR of Russia. This thesis presents four selected studies on the topic of prospects of cash crop production in the CBSR of Russia.
