The data of 311 patients were collected with chronic low back pain in the pain center Tutzing, Patients were first evaluated and then contacted again in order to document the current condition in this work. The overall concept of the pain center and the network structures have been illuminated here. The results were as follows considered quite positive. However, certainly there are still possibilities for improvement. As expected, the mean pain intensity did not improve in all chronic pain patients, but more than a third. At least as important as a reduction in pain intensity is a better quality of life. This has been found, as shown by the improvement in performance that was impaired due to pain (Pain Disability Index), as well as improving quality of life (SF36, PCI). The individual viewing of each individual patient and their needs, fears and disease-specific conditions and the subsequent therapy option should be based and applied. The intensified physical examination, the extensive history, the necessary but critical diagnosis used and the interdisciplinary collaboration of different professional groups are just as important as improved patient education to stronger motivation to work together to promote the healing process. The multimodal treatment principle with the different temporal and therapeutic compositions is very important for modern and successful pain therapy. However, it should not be disregarded in any case, other treatment options such as medication, or invasive surgical procedures. Any pain patient should get the best for him assortment of therapies and customized dosage of its drug obtained. You should also work on a better network structure in order to spare the chronic pain patients an odyssey. Attributing specialist groups should be better informed, to guide the patient more likely in a more promising direction.
