Abstract

English

This study examines the recidivism of offenders who are considered to be highly dangerous but have not been in the Preventive Detention that is imposed retrospectively ( § 66b StGB). Due an observation time of 24 months 25 subjects were observed regarding their recidivms. Furthermore 55 forensic reports are analysed regarding socio-demographic and criminalbiographic features to find risk and preventive characteristics. The results of this study suggest that it could be useful to describe criteria for the not very severe reoffending group.
