dc.description.abstracteng In this thesis, we consider the semilinear Tricomi-type equations. In particular, we work on the global Cauchy problem for the semilinear Tricomi-type equation with suitable initial data. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the critical exponent, if exponent is small than the critical exponent, then local solution blows up in finite time. If exponent is big than the critical exponent, then the global existence of small initial data solution is guaranteed. de
