In this dissertation transverse aortic constriction led to cardiac hypertrophy and increase of l-type ca2+-current in murine myocytes. Inhibition of ca2+/calmodulin-dependent kinase II delta using autocamtide-2-related inhibitory peptide and genetic knockout normalized l-type ca2+-current.de
