Abstract

English

Inspired by tyrisonase, a dicopper enzyme catalyzing the aerobic oxidation of phenols, highly preorganized bioinspired dinuclear copper complexes with imidazole ligation were synthesized and their reaction with phenolic substrates under aerobic conditions were investigated.
Keywords: bioinorganic chemistry; copper catalysis; aerobic oxidation; oxidation catalysis; copper oxygen chemistry
