Semiquantitative evaluation of the myocardial perfusion by patients after myocardial infarction and myocardial bone marrow CD133+ stem-cell transplantation by MRI. Post-infarction patients with chronic ischemia and reduced LVEF (25–50%) were devided in an intervention and a placebo-group. Interventions: forty-six patients were randomised to two groups receiving intramyocardial application of 5 ml placebo or a suspension of 0.5–5 × 106 CD133+ bone marrow stem-cell. The perfusion of this patients were measured by perfusion MRI on day zero and one hundred eighty days after treatment.

Semiquantitative Evaluation der myokardialen Perfusion bei Patienten nach Myokardinfarkt und intramyokardialer CD133+ Stammzelltherapie. Das Patientenkollektiv aus 47 Postinfarktpatienten mit chronischer Ischämie und reduzierter LVEF (25-50%) wurde in eine Interventionsgruppe mit Bypassanlage und intramyokardialer Stammzelltransplantation und eine Placebo-Gruppe mit Bypassanlangge und myokardialer Injektion einer Placebolösung unterteilt. Am Tag T=0 und nach einem halben Jahr am Tag T=180 wurde die myokardiale Perfusion mittels semiquantitativer MRT Perfusionsmessung untersucht und zwischen den Gruppen verglichen, um einen möglichen Stammzelleffekt zu detektieren.
