The Aim of the dissertation was to show if a prominent middle limiting membrane sign predicts the clinical course in patients with retinal vein occlusion. We were trying to proof if a pMLM-sign is a predictor for acute ischemia, if it has an impact on the visual loss in the beginning and the end, at the quantity of Injections with Anti-VEGF and if it is more likley to transform into an ischemic Type.

Ziel der Arbeit war es die prognostische Bedeutung einer pMLM für den klinischen Verlauf bei einem Zentralvenenverschluss zu untersuchen. Es soll die Hypothese untersucht werden, dass das Vorhandensein einer pMLM mit einem schlechteren Ausgangs- und Endvisus, einer höheren Anzahl an Anti-VEGF-Injektionen bei ZMÖ und einer höheren Wahrscheinlichkeit, dür die Ausbildung eines ischämischen ZVVs assoziiert ist.
