Abstract
English
This thesis evaluates the histopathological effects of a long-term application of Cannabidiol and delta-Tetrahydrocannabiol in a mouse model of the sporadic Alzheimer`s disease in a preventive and therapeutic approach regarding histopathological markers of neuro-inflammation, neurogenesis, hippocampal neurodegeneration and expression of the CB1-Receptor. Whilst beneficial effects can be shown in the preventive approach of treatment, such can not be ascertained for the therapeutic approach of treatment.
