The following dissertation shows factors that influence students in choosing their future specialty in medicine. Qualitative content analysis can be chosen as a form of analysis of interviews. Referring to the elaborated influencing factors, practical experience plays a major role for students. By knowing the other factors it can be possible to counteract the shortage of doctors in the future.
