Abstract

English

The thesis contents methods for the selective activation and functionalization of C–H bonds, among the most abundant bonds in organic molecules. In particular, earth-abundant and cost-effective nickel and iron complexes were utilized for C–H activation reactions, namely the nickel-catalyzed C–H chalcogenations of aniline derivatives with diaryl dichalcogenides and nickel-catalyzed C–H allylations and alkenylations of heteroarenes with allenes. Furthermore, methodologies for the construction of biologically relevant isoquinoline structures via iron-catalyzed C-H activation/annulation reactions using allenyl acetates or propargyl acetates have been developed.
