Abstract

English

This thesis shows the significance and additional use of cardiac magnetic resonance feature tracking (CMR-FT) for the prediction of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) after myocardial infarction in a large studygroup. In specific the global longitudinal strain (GLS) improves the prediction of MACE and is a superior measure over the left ventricular ejection fraction.
