Abstract
English
In this work, syntheses and analyses of transmembrane β-peptides were performed. On the one hand, a novel β-peptidic molecular ruler was designed which enables the measurement of near-membrane ion concentrations. On the other hand, transmembrane β-peptides were investigated in terms of self-aggregation in lipid membranes. The use of the recognition units cyanuric acid (CA) and melamine (M) as well as the pure transmembrane domain were found to assemble in the lipid environment leading to new applications in the field on transmembrane β-peptides.
