Abstract

English

Anthracene has an extended π-electron system. Beside the strong fluorescence it also yields high fluorescence efficiency. These facts promote anthracene to a very interesting research target for PET sensors (photo induced electron transfer). This thesis opens pathways towards modular building of PET chemo sensors based on anthracene.
Keywords: anthracene; PET-effect; PET; Daniel Stern; fluorescence; bromination; lithium

Other Languages
