Abstract

English

Eating disorders are especially common diseases in young women. The main symptom is a disturbed eating behavior. An eating disorder can be described as a psychological disorder arising from multiple causal factors. Such disorders do not manifest uniquely in an individual patient; they can also be understood as diseases of the family structure that can strongly influence the interpersonal relationships of the patient. The correlation between family dysfunctionality, interpersonal problems, and symptomatology in patients with eating disorders is the main subject of this work.
Keywords: family relationships; interpersonal problems; symptomatologie; eating disorders
