For this Ph. D. thesis I synthesized chiral peptides, guanidines and formamides and used them as organocatalysts in asymmetric C-C bond formation reactions. Here I demonstrated that small organocatalysts are effective alone or in combination with co-catalysts in asymmetric synthesis.

Für diese Doktorarbeit synthetisierte ich chirale Peptide, Guanidine und Formamide und benutzte diese für Asymmetrische C-C Bindungsknüpfungsreaktionen. Hier zeigte ich, dass kleine Organokatalysatoren allein effektiv sind oder in Kombination mit Ko-Katalysatoren in asymmetrischer Synthese.
