dc.description.abstract | Wir untersuchen die AdS/CFT-Korrespondenz
am Beispiel der IR- und UV-Renormierungsgruppenfixpunkttheorien
einer O(N)-symmetrischen Euklidischen Vektorfeldtheorie mit
$(\underline \phi^2)^2$-Wechselwirkung in 2 Dimensionen.
| de |

dc.description.abstracteng | We study the AdS/CFT correspondence at the
example of the renormalization group IR and UV fixpoint theories of
a Euclidean O(N)-symmetric vector field theory with $(\underline
\phi^2)^2$ interaction in 2 dimensions. These conformal field
theories are taken as starting point for a holographic
reconstruction of corresponding bulk Euclidean AdS (EAdS) theories.
It is based on the perturbative $1/N$-expansion and assumes a
family of fundamental tensor fields of arbitrary, even spin in bulk
EAdS. In particular, we study the bulk vertices coupling three or
more tensor fields of arbitrary order, showing explicitly how all
vertices can be given in terms of the three-valent vertex. On the
technical side, we rely on a functional relation between the
generating functions of the IR and UV fixpoint theories, termed
“UV/IR-Duality”. The consistent use of an embedding-space formalism
for the EAdS hyperboloid is essential. As a result, we obtain
semi-classical path integrals for both bulk theories corresponding
holographically to the boundary fixpoint theories. These
representations bear in part resemblance to string theory and throw
an interesting light on the localisation issue of the degrees of
freedom in the AdS/CFT correspondence. | de |
